Sadak 2 is a terrible, terrible film. It’s also incredibly such as stupid film. Mahesh Bhatt’s first film as director after 21 years, Alia Bhatt being directed by her father for the first time in the film, in a career spanning eight years in bollywoood, with her home banner Vishesh Films. It’s also a sequel in spirit to Sadak, made 29 years ago, Wwhich starring sanjay dutt and puja bhatt and a most memorable film in its time. This nostalgic hook could make a few tune in, only to have their memories of the original marred by this mangled mess of a Part 2. Despite its repeated allusions to road, travel and journey, both physical and metaphorical, Sadak 2 had potential, however it doesn’t hold up against the original
Bollywood most talented Director Mahesh Bhatt is known for so many iconic films from Sadak, Arth, Saaransh, Aashiqui to Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, and so many films. Mahesh Bhatt has directed a film after decades, and this one sadly misses the mark. Hopefully, his next one will be as iconic as some of his earlier films.
